Christmas Play

The kids participated in the Christmas program at the church last weekend....Lexi read a letter to Mary and sang with the choir.
Cole - well - Cole was a shepard - and he took his job very carefully as he thought he was to guard the Baby Jesus. Our shepards scared us a little - so they weren't allowed to have staffs for fear that they would turn into swords.

Cole & Garrett standing with the head shepard Jayden
Cole & Garrett deciding what they should do next. All in all - it went off without a hitch - the kids did great - and there were no bad shepards!!

Buck Season 2010

Friday night Garry got a nice 8 point out of his new tree stand. While I am sure that he wishes that Lexi would have been with him to shoot it, he was none the less excited. Lexi and Cole were too - as they kept fighting over who would get to hold the horns - here Cole is all smiles as it was his turn.
Garry and his 2010 buck
Lexi wanted to get all decked out too for the picture
My little hunting girl - all in camo and her blue boots :)
One thing that I can say I am glad that he is passing down to our kids...

Christmas Pictures

I decided to take the kid's Christmas pictures this year - we got a beautiful day and we dressed up and decided to do a little adventuring. I found some great places to take some pictures. I was pleased with them - although I know that I still have a lot to learn about my camera and natural light.

I loved this shot - I told them to walk down the path and stay together so they didn't get in the mud....

Merry Christmas from Lexi & Cole!!

Happy 9th Birthday Lexi!

Blowing out those 9 candles - where has the time gone
It was ICarly this year - here is her Dairy Queen cake with Carly and Sam on it
Opening presents - Bryanna got her the Liv Doll she wanted!!
Art book from Mommy
Bryanna, Cole, Brett & Logan looking on - Bryanna is taking over Lexi's role of playing dress up at every birthday party.
The day after Thanksgiving, Lexi had her friend birthday party - a sleepover with three of her girlfriends. It was her first real sleepover here at the house - so to say that she was excited would be an understatement. We had pizza and cupcakes, did nails and hair, played Barbies, and squealed and screamed a lot....
We played rock band in our pj's
and sang Happy Birthday!! We also lost three teeth - Becca lost two and Lexi lost one. So needless to say - once everyone fell asleep about 2am - I think the tooth fairy even came!!!
Happy Birthday Lexi - here is to great friendships and family in your years to come...
